DRARA ACTION ON... UNIVERSITY LIAISON
The Divinity Road Area is a popular address for students who want to live in the community, particularly Brookes students given the proximity to both Brookes University Headington campus, and the popular Cowley Road area. As a result, neighbours in DRARA can experience issues relating to student neighbours or students passing through our area, and communication between DRARA committee and Oxford Brookes University is a key focus of the committee.
Karen Metcalfe is the DRARA committee member responsible for liaison with Oxford Brookes University and Oxford University, and would be glad to receive any comments and suggestions from DRARA members or people living in the wider area covered by the East Oxford Residents' Associations Forum. (Karen's contact details TBC).
BROOKES UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT TEAM
Oxford Bruokes Univerisity have a community engagement team who work with DRARA and other residents associations, and local agencies and organisations. A coordinator student warden attends our DRARA committee meetings, and the DRARA committee and the community engagement team work closely together on student-related issues.
Oxford Brookes holds regular meetings with representatives from the local community. Our DRARA rep at these meetings is Karen Metcalfe. Minutes from these meetings can be found here: TBA.

OXFORD UNIVERSITY STUDENT HOUSES
Oxford University does not have a central complaints procedure. To report or discuss any issues relating to a house occupied by or owned by Oxford University, find out which college the property or students belong to, and contact the college directly.
